I received an email about a white sorority winning a national stepping competition and wondered what was the punchline. I saw the Deltas from FAMU at their national convention back in the day and they looked Tiger Woods-type better than anyone.
I was wrong. Zeta Tau Alpha brought that “hot fire” into the camp recently. I think they are girls with cheerleading and gymnastics background. No excuses; those girls are great. What can we do next in our community? Superbowl quarterback and coach, check. Supreme Court justice, check. President, check. Brilliant First Lady, check. Brothers in space, check.
Everyone earns a paycheck, next check. Maybe Black pope will be first.

Clearly a nod to the Matrix movies Steppers took it to the next level a few years ago when they put in that Matrix move similar to Neil avoiding the bullets.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I am going to blame it on rap music and videos. This proves what I have always thought all along- we supply American with its home grown culture. These women will probably figure how to make big money off this. Stepping school of NYC?
They are terrific! Are we sure that they are all members of said sorority? It’s unusual to have so many in any one group (no matter the race) that are great steppers/dancers. Could it be that they are just dancers (professional or students)??
If not…..great work! It would have taken much time to perfect such a long routine.
