Thanks for the heads up! I listen as often as I am home to Mr. Cain, he is awesome! I wish our local stations would carry his show rather than that idiot Michael Smirkonish (sp?).
Definitely it was an experience. I hope you got a chance to tune in and hear the conversation. It’s apparent the topic of ‘ballot access’ has gotten the attention of Herman Cain. More and more people, from both majority political parties, are starting to realize (and voice publicly) that something is wrong with the system when regular people, like you and me, have to go through a rigorous and daunting process to run for a political office. If either of the major parties feel they are so good, effective, efficient and for the people, why can’t they stand on their own merit (as a party) and take on anyone else that wants to run? Sounds like an insecurity complex to me on both sides of the aisles to me. What an exciting and powerful political process we could have if anyone, no matter what their political affiliation, can simply pay the qualifying fee and run for office. Well, if you heard the interview, Herman Cain and I made a commitment to make ‘ballot access’ a ‘top of mind and actionable’ issue. Stay tuned.
Helen: you did a fine job on the Herman Cain show and I never knew his show was so much fun while being informative.
Is it just me or is Cain thinking about an independent run for high office.
Helen, you did an excellent job.
