   Don’t sleep on Esperanza Spalding putting it down on the Upright Bass…what a positive young lady.

   And Lizz Wright from middle Georgia (who has several videos on this list) can be heard on “The Secret Life of Bees” movie—from the book by Sue Monk Kidd from right here in Sylvester, Georgia.

   Keep Jennifer Hudson from that film and her family in your prayers during this tragic period.

   With all the news about Luck Bryan coming out of southwest Georgia, I figured it was time for me to listen to his music. The guy can go and his song “We Rode In Trucks” hit home because I still drive an old pickup truck; mostly because it is all I have but also because it was my daddy’s and …..you know.
