he could have been iulcnenfed by Conservatives once he won was right. At least we would have had a better chance influencing McCain than we do Obama now. And the one thing that I did like about McCain was he did want to reform the way some things were done in DC.. He NEVER took any earmarks.. He would have been a better foreign policy President and he was an honest man and a war hero..

I disagree with ALL of you. ANY semblance of Barack Obama or his big government policies in the White House after the next election will spell
DOOM for an America to narrow minded to see it. Disparaging Newt while not mentioning Clinton is a tip off that your comments are tinged with bias or ignorance of the facts. When you say Bush was AWARDED the presidency that PROVES your ignorance. The court ruled in favor of GORE but I get tired of explaining that to people who wouldn't or won't even try to understand it.

So New t is a hypocrite for pushing term limits? I have pushed getting rid of the IRS and Social Security for decades, but I still pay taxes and try to get as many loophole as possible. I have been getting my Social Security checks for five years. That doesn't make me a hypocrite. As long as the morons keep voting benefits for me I will keep accepting them.

Obama is vacationing at a $60,000 per month villa in Hawaii. Nancy Pelosi recently stayed at a hotel for $10,000 per night. Are THEY hypocrites? Michelle Obama constantly rails against America's rich but just wore two dresses on her vacation that totaled $2900.00! So, is SHE a hypocrite?

NO president can do very much to improve your life, he can only make it more difficult because to get involved in your life means he is meddling. His job is defined as foreign policy and national defense, not creating a favorable environment for you. If you NEED the president for ANYTHING but national defense or to deal with foreign governments, then you are likely support him no matter what happens to anyone or anything else.

As for Jon Huntsman and moderates in the White House, remember this; the GOP has NEVER won the White House since 1975 unless it was a CONSERVATIVE candidate, the more conservative the larger the landslide.

Bush (41) was not a conservative but he won because REAGAN was such a conservative. Bush (43) was not VERY conservative and look how close his victory was. Only because he ran against Gore did he win at all.

Personally I think Rick Santorum and Michelle Bachman are the two most conservative candidates but they won't win because the GOP doesn't have the guts to go against the GOP elitists who are pushing these moderate poop panderers.

I will hold my nose and vote for Gingrich, Romney, even for RON PAUL before Barack Obama.

I disagree with you about Mr. Gingrich. In the Clinton era, Mr. Gingrich was a cynical, calculating crook. He was calling for term limits when he had been in Congress for 18 years.
If we are foolish enough to elect Mr. Gingrich, we are going to get more government by, and for, the special interests.
It reminds me of 2000. Until Mr. Bush was awarded the Presidency, we did not know what he was about. After 911, it was too late. He, and his warmonger supporters, had the power, and they were going to use it. We will be paying for those mistakes for a long, long time.
