Hell, we can consider it my 40 acres and a mule for all that free labor the South got from my family before 1865 as slaves and before 1965 as sharecroppers. (can you say ill-gotten gains.) Of course, the confederates I know would say that work was done my others and not me. I would say I can take you to large farms in Georgia that got so large because the labor was free or near free–labor being my kin. Okay, I am kidding but it is something to thinkable.
